Prayers For Ely Buendia

The Eraserheads much awaited reunion concert last Saturday is another one fans shall never forget.

The concert was well received by everyone and all were in high spirits but after a few songs it had to be stopped.

Concert organizers and friends then rushed Ely Buendia to the Makati Medical Center, where he was reported to be in stable condition, he suffered a heart attack anf haf to be operated on right away.

The Erasherheads opened the concert at 8:15 p.m. More than 10 songs were played to eager fans. They then had a 30 mins break but Forty minutes later, Buendia’s sister went up to the stage to break the sad news.

“We regret to inform you that we have to cut the concert short. My brother had to be rushed to hospital because of emotional and physical stress he is experiencing,” said Buendia’s sister Lali to everyone who was present at the Fort. The concert organizers later revealed that about 15 more songs were suppose to be performed by the famous group.

A minute of silent prayer followed after the announcement.

As of this writing, he is stable but is still in need of prayers for a speedy and full recovery.

His mother passed two days before the concert, there were also issues with sponsorships, change of concert venue .. all attributing unwanted stress leading to the attack.
